THE CHALLENGE

For the launch of 1664 Blanc in Zurich, in collaboration with Switzerland’s leading fashion house PKZ, Refract Studios was tasked with melding virtual and physical worlds to bring an immersive fashion show to life.

Using 360 degree projection, virtual models and digitally simulated garments were choreographed to seamlessly transition from the projected environment onto the live catwalk, blurring the boundary between physical and virtual fashion.

Refract Studios digitally recreated physical garments in full detail, translating real world patterns into precise virtual constructions, refining materials and textures, and applying physics simulations to ensure accurate fit, weight, and natural movement as the garments draped and flowed on the virtual models.
